Itinerary Planning – Policies and Conditions
To initiate the Itineraries Planning process, the traveler(s) (hereinafter "the Traveler") should Contact Us to register and make their non-refundable deposit of $450. Registration and payment of a deposit by the Traveler constitute the Traveler's acceptance of, and agreement to, the Policies and Conditions herein. Payments may be made by personal check or by bank check. Upon receipt of the deposit, Tour Italy, LLC, (dba, and hereinafter, "Italy Adagio"), will send the Trip Planning Questionnaire to the Traveler as an email attachment.
The Traveler's final payment is due upon receipt of an email with attachment containing the day-by-day itinerary and final invoice. Upon receipt of final payment, Italy Adagio will send the Traveler detailed information including, but not limited to, hotel names, web addresses, and contact information; guides' names and contact information; in-Italy transportation names and contact information. If final payment is not received within ten (10) days of the sending of the email with attached itinerary, Italy Adagio reserves the right to treat services as cancelled by the Traveler, as if in writing, as per the Cancellation policy below.
In the event of cancellation of Italy Adagio services by the the Traveler, there will be no refunds. The Traveler is personally subject to, and fully responsible for, any cancellation fees assessed by the purveyors of services used in the itinerary or on a tour, including, but not limited to, hotels; in-Italy transportation; special events; museum reservations; and guides.
All Travelers are strongly urged to purchase trip cancellation and interruption insurance. Also, Travelers over fifty years of age are urged to seriously consider purchasing emergency medical evacuation insurance. You should check with your own insurance agent or online to learn about the different types of coverage available and their costs.
The itineraries, in-Italy reservations, and guides that Italy Adagio suggests are based on the information available at the time the suggestions of services and arrangements are prepared and are subject to modifications, additions, and deletions as deemed necessary by Italy Adagio.
Italy Adagio does not own or operate any entity which is to, or does, provide goods or services for the Traveler's trip. Italy Adagio and/or its agents act only as agents for the Traveler in regard to travel including, but not limited to, sightseeing; meals; lodging; guide services; and in-Italy transportation. Therefore, Italy Adagio assumes no liability for injury; death; damage; loss; accident; delay; or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle for any reason whatsoever or through the acts or default of any company or person engaged in conveying the passenger or in carrying out the arrangements set forth in their Itinerary; or for any hotel proprietor or hotel service; or for any tour guide; or for any other person engaged in carrying out the purposes for which The Traveler has officially registered for Italy Adagio recommendations. Italy Adagio and/or its agents can accept no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in transportation services; sickness; weather; strike; war; quarantine; or other causes. All such losses or expenses shall be borne by the Traveler, as Italy Adagio fees provide for recommendations only for the time and locations stated. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the Traveler. The prices of the recommended services in Italy are based on tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of their publication and are subject to adjustment in the event of any change therein. Should Italy Adagio or anyone acting on their behalf be required to incur attorney fees and costs to enforce this agreement, the enrolling Traveler(s) agree(s) to indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs. In the event a lawsuit is filed, the registering participant(s) agree(s) to do so only in the County of Cuyahoga in the State of Ohio. The payment of a deposit or any part or full payment for any of Italy Adagio's travel services shall be deemed to constitute consent to the terms contained herein.
